Post-Sandy Walk in the Woods

It does not take long before we start to feel a bit of cabin fever.  James and I headed out to Matthew Henson Trail to check out the stream and see what changes Sandy brought us.  The stream was bustling.  We have a lot of wet, colorful leaves on the ground along with a sprinkling of branches.  It appears from the section of the trail we walked on that we did not have any major damage.   Even thought it was cold and still raining, James was eager to go for a walk/ swim and I was happy to oblige to get outside my creative juices flowing.  We are thinking of all of our friends who were not so fortunate and are still dealing with flooding, damage and remain without power.
