Three recent Beachscape Panorama's taken at Assateague Island National Seashore in Maryland. In post-processing I converted the first two images to black and white but decided to show all three in color for this post. As the final image demonstrates, a day of photography for me can vary from minimal with leading lines to a shot of my loyal assistant, James my two year old Golden Retriever puppy. The first two shots were captured laying flat on my stomach and the third laying on my back to use the beautiful, rich blue sky as the background.
Photography Tip: Don't be afraid to move yourself into different positions to try view a potential composition from different perspectives. Particularly, get down low, get dirty (or in the case sand covered) and enjoy embodying the moment you are trying to capture. Not only is it fun, I often find it leads to rewarding results.
