Wild Horses at Assateague Island
Assateague Island National Seashore is a welcoming location to spend time at the beach. The Maryland side of the park (also located in Virginia) allows visitors to bring dogs to the beach year round as long as they are kept on a leash. Wild horses live on the island and we were fortunate to get to see a couple of them in the late afternoon as we were headed home. Stay tuned and follow on Facebook, Google+ and Twitter for more updates soon. You can also stay connected by signing up for email updates.
