Chicago Night on the Navy Pier
An iconic spot along the waterfront in downtown Chicago was my evening adventure. The Navy Pier was busy with a mix of locals and visitors enjoying the evening, running amusement rides, going on boat tours or listening to a local band that was playing. I knew that I did not have a tripod with me so it was going to be very challenging to capture cityscape shots with the crisp clarity I wanted. In instances like this you make the best of the situation by finding objects around you to steady the camera (such as wooden posts along the waterfront).
In case you missed it, check out my Chicago Afternoon post.
