Photo Taken With iPhone
In our household we try to use things until they are fully worn out or if we do not use them enough to wear them out we find them a new home. This week my phone officially died and we had to make a decision on new phones. As much as we have both wanted smart phones we told ourselves that we would not upgrade until we had to. So, this week we dove into the world of smart phones. As a photographer having a smart phone has been on the top of my list so that I can always have a camera with me where ever I go. This is key for capturing the little (or big) moments that just happen. It also means that when I go out running I can capture some of the beauty that surrounds me and share it here with you. All of this is very exciting.
To celebrate, here is my first iPhone post of the yummy salsa I made using ingredients from our weekly farm share consisting of organic produce courtesy of Spiral Path Farm. Spiral Path Farm is located in South-Central Pennsylvania (near Loysville). As a CSA member (Community Supported Agriculture) they deliver to the Silver Spring, Maryland Farmers Market where we pick up our organic share every Saturday morning throughout the season. The fruits, vegetables and herbs we receive continue to be so fresh and fragrant. I highly recommend Spiral Path Farm so if you are in this "neck of the woods" check them out! All those not in the area they serve, I encourage you to check out the CSA's in your area. Supporting local farms is important for living sustainably and being earth friendly.
