Snowy Pathways

Early snowfall closed Acadia National Park's Park Loop Road before the Dec. 1 closure. After a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends, Friday was a day for getting outside for an adventure. It was a giddy feeling as we quickly left the road and headed along the trail up Cadillac Mountain. The top was brutally cold and windy (as Cadillac usually is) but the views along the trail consisted of arriving beautiful green trees covered in snow and snow covered rocky pathways.

"I see my path, but I don't know where it leads. Not knowing where
I'm going is what inspires me to travel it."

Rosalia de Castro, Galician romanticist writer and poet
