I have enjoyed taking some time this winter (a very cold Maine winter) to process images and to take a closer look at reoccurring themes in my work. I often talk about my love for clouds and believe that clouds play such an important part in my love for outdoor adventures. Clouds as an element helps to create a sense of wonder and express emotion; from happy fluffy clouds to dark storm clouds it enhances and helps tell a story. Through my adventure experiences there is nothing quite like chasing clouds. It has and continues to be a great love affair seeing and capturing the amazing clouds whether flying high above them or laying on the ground looking up. I have even started to get those who spend time with me to notice the clouds and send me pictures with their iPhones. It may seem silly but being in the moment to see the clouds is pretty awesome.
